Scratch Live 2.5 Bug Fixes
Alongside these key features Scratch Live 2.5 also includes bug fixes to continue the unparalleled level of stability and performance that Serato software is known for.
Some examples of the bug fixes are:
- Mixtape .als recordings now work with Ableton Live 9.
- Fixed a bug where the beatgrid lock wasn't being saved and loaded to/from the file; it was only being saved to the database.
- The Sixty-Eight record source is now correctly loaded from preferences.
- Fixed a bug where the CDJ-350 was sending both MIDI and HID messages which meant it could possibly fire two different Scratch Live events at the same time.
- Fixed a bug where the DJFX deck assignments wouldn't save to preferences if going from being 'on' initially, to 'off'.

Scratch Live 2.4.4 is primarily a maintenance release to continue the unparalleled commitment to stability and performance that Serato software is renowned for.
Included with a number of apps and hardware products, Live 10 Lite is a lightweight version of Ableton Live 10. It comes with all of Live’s essential workflows, instruments and effects – everything you need to record songs, create hands-on with your controller, take music made in your apps further and so much more. Watch: What is Live Lite? Complete control of ableton live using the iPad or iPod touch. LiveControl 2. The long awaited follow up to the TouchOSC Ableton Live controller template LiveControl. Built on Lemur technology, featuring simplified connection, and optimised layout. LiveControl 2 brings a huge number of new features. LiveControl 2. LK is a sophisticated remote controller application for music software and hardware. It works in two modes: Live or MIDI. In Live mode, each module has a tight integration with Ableton Live making. If you use Ableton Live, you need a Launchpad. Its 8 x 8 grid has become ubiquitous with the evolution of electronic music, letting you launch clips, play drum racks and control your mixer, all while creating impressive lightshows. Live Control 2.1.3 works with Lemur Daemon 4.0.3 using Live 8.3 just fine. I upgraded to Live 9.1.8 with the same Live Control and Lemur setup but now only the “play” portion/keyboard responds. That is, I can’t launch scenes using Live Control nor do the names of the tracks and scenes load up on Live Control. Live control ableton download.
This version fixes some important issues for users such as:
- Fixed an issue where playing files from the CD drive or ejecting a CD caused a crash.
- Fixed the Kernel Panic crashes when hot-plugging the Rane SL 4 and improved hot plugging stability across all Rane devices.
- Scratch Live can now install on Windows 8 without the need to disable Windows security settings. (NB: Windows 8 is not currently officially supported by Serato).
- Fixed a bug where video files without audio were labelled as corrupt.
- Fixed an issue where you couldn't save cue points, loops or auto gain values to .mov or .flv files.
- Fixed an issue where you could get distortion when recording with the Rane Sixty-Two.
- Fixed an issue where no audio was being recorded in Mixtape when using the Rane Sixty-Eight.
- Fixed a bug with the Serato Video auto crossfader whereby it couldn't reach far left or right when set to a fast speed.
Alongside these changes to the software, there are also updated Rane Core Audio Drivers for use with other audio applications. These are no longer automatically installed when using the Scratch Live installer. Instead, they are now located in the Rane Device Drivers folder within the .dmg file. The Rane Core Audio drivers also have added support for OSX10.8 as well as some additional bug fixes.
