Good Day fellow Abletoners,

Ableton Signal Analyzer Mac Free

As always, please forgive my ignorance regarding this topic and I hope that someone can get me on the right track.
I have discovered that I can 'read' a waveform much better in an application like Audacity with it's two tone colors than I can using any of the Spectrum Analyzers that come with Ableton. Perhaps this is a shortcoming of myself but I know that I can visually identify a good waveform with less clipping and identify too heavy compression and other problems when viewing an export in Audacity.
Is there a free VST or something out there that can give me a 'heads up' in real time in Ableton? I've looked at a smexoscope and it was helpful but still wasn't quite what I was looking for? I especially value the two color tones for low and high frequencies.
Hopefully one of you kind people can point me in the right direction.

Grip

Grip is a device that grabs hold of spectral components from the incoming signal. It can create inharmonic resonances, artifacts, mechanical screeches, and drones. Feed it drums, vocals, pads or anything else and watch your sounds transmute into new forms.

Specially tailored to process a variety of sound sources, Grip brings out aspects of your audio that you never suspected were there. It comes with a collection of presets to get you started - but the real fun begins when you start tweaking the controls.

More than just a fancy modulator, Spectrum Runner gets into the guts of your audio. It performs real-time tasks that modify the phase and timing of the sound spectrum.

Spectrum Runner can be used as a spectral delay, “mangler”, and distortion effect. Thanks to its three “spectral LFOs”, it can sculpt the sound in very interesting and unpredictable ways.

It is not only a glitchy sound manipulator, though; it is also capable of deconstructing the input sound in a gentle cascade of evolving harmonics.
